Unique requirements of consumers are a difficulty that suppliers have to face quite often. It would seem that finding the perfect product shouldn’t be so difficult, but in practice everything depends on the market situation. When working with a certain customer, we had to deal with dual requirements. Firstly, its recipient required the production plant to be BRC certified. Secondly, the ordered fruit had to meet the Global G.A.P. certification standards.
At the beginning, we defined the exact expectations that the products were supposed to meet. Then we implemented a strategy and an effective plan, so we quickly found the perfect supplier from among our contacts. The products we selected had the necessary properties and came from certified crops. In addition, we also paid attention to other requirements regarding, for example, pesticides or microbiological standards.
What could have happened if we hadn’t found the optimal solution? First of all, the customer would have lost their chance to showcase their product, they would have had fewer opportunities for development, and their public image would have suffered.
