We cooperated with a client who ran into several challenges although he only needed mangoes. First of all, their recipient required that the fruit have a kosher certificate and meet several other specific requirements. Attempts to order from other clients were unsuccessful, e.g. due to insufficient sugar content in the fruit.

Knowing the customer’s needs, we started searching among our suppliers. The main criterion was the kosher certificate and sugar content; however, when selecting raw materials, we also checked which regions they came from, as well as their harvest time. For many recipients, these are important factors, as they translate into the flavour, properties and size of fruit.

We found fruit that met the requirements in terms of being kosher, and having the right properties, also with regard to packaging. As a result, our customer could immediately deliver the ordered product, e.g. to supermarket chains without the need for repackaging. Comprehensive cooperation and the use of professional experience turned out to be the crucial component for effective operation.
